Individual Coaching
Dr. Cohen offers instruction in Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB/BC, Multi-Variable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics.
During individual sessions,
Dr. Sara Cohen works with each student to create a program tailored to his or her unique learning needs. We welcome not only students who are struggling with new math concepts but also students who simply want enrichment programming. One-on-one sessions are aligned with the student’s school curriculum and use the student’s current textbook.
There are many benefits to individual coaching. One-on-one sessions address a student’s particular learning style and create an environment where students can confidently ask questions. Students can progress more rapidly with individual coaching and can explore mathematical concepts on a deeper level.
One-on-one student learning also offers many opportunities to develop good study and organizational habits.
Fees for individual and group coaching:
- Individual Coaching $55 per hour ($30 per half hour)
- Two students $35 per student per hour
- Three students $30 per student per hour
- Four students $25 per student per hour
- Five students $20 per student per hour
Note: Each one hour session includes 5 minutes of transition time at the beginning and at the end with 50 minutes of instruction.
